Welcome  back to those who haven't seen ZONR since it was taken off the App Store many years ago! Definitely my least successful game ever. I was no longer able to run the original source code, so I've taken a couple of weekends to port the game over to Godot. It's missing the dynamic theme switcher, but the game didn't need it anyway.

I had to watch the original gameplay via a YouTube video to re-create it accurately. Thank you to the enterprising individual who recorded the footage a decade ago.

The scoring system has been slightly tweaked. Now 1,000,000 points is "par". You might think you've gotten a good score tapping the screen at random, but the only way to really improve at this game is take your time to touch the largest zone as quickly and as accurately as you can.

Though I've gotten it working on Android via the browser, I'll work on putting native versions up on the App Store & Google Play.  Godot 4's web exporter isn't great and therefore the game is not playable on an iPhone via the web browser.

this game is really fun for how simple it is

Rebuilt the Web version with Godot 4.3. It still has issues (including UI anchors). I'll keep at it. At least I was able to boot it on a mobile device before it crashed. Looks like I'll need to incorporate "samples" as shared in the 4.3 blog post.

There's an update for Godot inbound. This will allow the game to be played in Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Apologies in the meantime.

Sorry I had to take this down. Google Play's new policies require us to publish DUNS verified developer address on the support page. A wholly "bedroom developer" unfriendly policy.

Looking forward to the appearance on Google Play!

A blast from the past! Great work!

very cool

Yooooo, the nostalgia is so huge right now, thank you for reviving ZONR! :D
